7 Card Stud Poker |
7 card stud poker is a classic variant of poker. Unlike other
popular variations of poker, Omaha and Texas Holdem, 7 card poker is
played at stricter limits; moreover, the winning combination is to be
composed of five card, in spite of the fact that seven cards are dealt.
It's a must to learn the 7 card stud poker rules before beginning to
play just for one reason - 7 card stud poker is one of the most
complicated variations. Thus, some gambler will needs plenty of time
and thousands of dealt hands to learn the poker rules and to find out
how
to benefit from it.
After making first bets (Ante) the gamblers are dealt three cards each,
the third card is open. There are not any common cards. Then, during
five rounds the gamblers make bets moving clockwise. The player who
gets the lowest card is to continue the betting round. Other gamblers
are allowed to raise, to fold or to call (the third round). On the
fourth round every person is dealt another open card. The player with
the highest card begins the new betting round. This time, there is an
opportunity to double the bet on the condition that a better gets an
open pair. The fifth and sixth rounds are played in the similar way.
The river (the last round or the seventh round) is the most important,
but, at the same time, it decides nothing. If the game has been bad,
the River is able to improve 7 card stud odds, but the chances are
miserable. The last card is to be private; the bet is made by the
opponent who began betting during the previous round. If there are at
least two players left, the cards are to be compared. If only one
gambler is left, he wins the pot.
In general, the 7 card stud odds depend greatly on observing the open
cards, the 7 card
stud guide assures. 7 card stud poker is the game of high
combinations, i.e. there
is sense to call or to raise only if your first card value is 10 or
more. |
